The Hwb Plas Heli Hub is a key operational facility within the secure Plas Heli compound. Maintained and insured by Plas Heli Cyf, it provides secure storage and support facilities for authorised user groups and for Plas Heli's growing programme of training, events, and race management activities.
The Hwb is currently used by:
- CHIPAC – Youth Sailing Section of Clwb Hwylio Pwllheli Sailing Club
- Clwb Rwyfo Pwllheli
- Plas Heli Cyf for race management, event delivery and operational equipment
Plas Heli is committed to supporting and promoting the growth of sailing and watersports in Pwllheli. The Hwb plays an important role in achieving this aim by providing a safe, secure and well-managed facility for the storage of equipment and the support of sporting activities.
The facility is maintained for the benefit of its authorised user groups and to meet the increasing operational demands associated with major events, training camps, race management and community activities hosted at Plas Heli.
We are proud of the Hwb and the opportunities it provides for young sailors, rowers, volunteers and the wider watersports community.
To support the safe and effective operation of the Hwb, Plas Heli has reviewed and updated the Policy for the Use of the Plas Heli Hub, together with the associated General Risk Assessment and Fire Risk Assessment.
These documents provide the operational, safety and security framework for the facility and are relevant to all authorised users.
The current approved documents can be accessed using the links below.
