It is a great disappointment that your event has been cancelled but we do, of course, understand the need to keep everyone safe. We were really looking forward to welcoming you to Plas Heli, the Welsh National Sailing Academy and Event Centre.
The lock-down is a big problem for us. As a community enterprise and not for profit distributing company we are having a real hard time with no income and still with high running costs of the closed facility!
Despite the above concerns we are continuing with our plans for future events and we just can’t wait for the restrictions to be eased so that we can get back on the water.
I can confirm that our policy and terms of business (see here) states that all cancelled bookings are entitled to a 70% refund.
We have, however, agreed that any 2020 booking that are cancelled due to the pandemic can receive a refund of 70% - or the total amount can be deferred to future events.
Many customers have already supported us by requesting a deferred booking. This is greatly appreciated.
A deferred booking can also be rolled over to future years if not taken up this year.
If you decide to defer your booking, when you are ready to book again proceed through the booking process and cancel the process at the PayPal page. We will convert your 'un-confirmed booking' to a 'confirmed booking' on the administration pages of the system.
The full value of the original booking will be attributed to the future run event/s.
We are presently working through the camping requests and all other works associated with cancelled events and facility shut down, so please be patient.
Plas Heli Cyf is a Not for profit distibuting community enterprise and depends on income from event camping to assist with the facility costs and to contribute to improving the facility for everyones benefit.

We have, however, agreed that any 2020 booking that are cancelled due to the pandemic can receive a refund of 70% irrespective of the time of notification.
You have elected to receive the 70% refund and we will now process your application as soon as possible.
In cases of great hardship we will consider applications for a full refund less reasonable administrative costs.
