1. Fire Detection & Alarm System
The venue is equipped with a fully serviced, addressable fire alarm system covering all internal areas. Key features include:
- Automatic smoke and heat detectors throughout the building
- Break‑glass call points at all main fire exits
- Main fire alarm panel located behind the reception desk
- Repeater panel located in the main lobby by the front door
- Audible and visual alarms across all public and staff areas
- Lift shutdown: lift automatically isolates when the fire alarm activates
2. Automatic Safety Controls
The fire alarm system triggers automatic safety responses:
- Automatic gas shut-off: mains gas supply isolates when the fire alarm activates
- Kitchen emergency gas cut-off: manual push-button isolation for gas hobs
- Fire doors: self‑closing fire doors (installed during 2015 construction) close automatically; magnetic hold‑opens release
3. Firefighting Equipment
Firefighting equipment is strategically placed throughout the venue, including:
- Water extinguishers
- CO₂ extinguishers
- Foam extinguishers
- Fire blankets (kitchen and bar)
All extinguishers are serviced annually and checked monthly.
4. Evacuation Routes & Assembly Point

- Primary exits: main entrance, balcony stairs, kitchen exit
